The Table View is similar to a spreadsheet. It displays multiple cells that together make up a grid consisting of columns and rows, with each cell containing various data pertaining to a folder.
Tables may be sorted by clicking on a column header. A symbol is displayed in the column header to indicate whether the column is sorted in ascending or descending order. Additionally, the current sorted columns is displayed with a slightly darker background than other columns.
The table view allows for “drilling down” to subfolders in the Size data view. To drilldown, double click a row in the table representing a folder, and the table will be redisplayed with that folder’s information.
Rows within the table can be selected for operations such as deleting and zipping folders and files. A single row is selected by clicking the row. Multiple rows may be selected by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking additional rows. A range of rows may be selected by holding down the Shift key.
Columns may be sized by clicking and dragging the split bar displayed between the columns in the table header. Columns may also be moved to different locations within the table via click and drag on the column header.
Each table contains a column control in the upper right corner of the table which provides additional options for columns.
When the column control button is clicked a menu similar to the following will be displayed.
Columns can be turned on/off by clicking the column name. Selecting "Pack All Columns" will attempt a best fit on columns widths based on the content of each column and the horizontal size of the column. Selecting "Horizontal Scroll" will set each column’s width to match its largest item, and will add a horizontal scroll bar to the table if the combined column widths exceed the horizontal width of the table.
